Study guidance

The study guidance services offer guidance and information when you are in the process of making educational or professional choices. We help you to clarify what your interests and abilities are prior to and during your studies.

Summer opening hours

The general study guidance service is closed from 4 July to 30 July.

We will not be able to answer any emails received during this period. We will reopen on Wednesday 31 July and will only answer the emails and requests for appointments that are received after that date.

If you need subject-related guidance, we refer you to the faculty/department study guidance service. Find their contact info via the links below.

Lund University offers both

  • master's and subject-related guidance at the different faculties/departments
  • general study guidance.

What type of study guidance do you need?

Master's and subject-related study guidance at faculty/department

Study guidance and study information are offered through the different Lund University faculties/departments, where you can access detailed subject-related guidance with regard to the programmes and courses that are available at that particular faculty or department.

You should also contact the study guidance service at the faculty if you have questions about Master's programmes.

General study guidance

Lund University also offers general guidance services to current and prospective students who are considering applying for a programme or courses.

Please feel free to contact the general study guidance team if, for example, you are unsure about your choice of studies or you want to know more about the professional fields that different programmes lead to.
