This essay studies and compare two different heroines and how they are represented in stories about them. The heroines are Sue Grafton´s Kinsey Millhone and Janet Evanovich´s Stephanie Plum. These two have been chosen because of that they both are strong and independent women. The goal for the essay is to find out if one of these stories are better than the other to work with in a Swedish school class. As help the book Femininity by Susan Brownmiller have been used, to create a pattern for what you can say is femininity.
