Stedordsbrug : pronominelle forskelle mellem dansk og svensk

Author

  • Pontus Lans

Summary, in English

This work investigated the differences in the usage of pronouns between Danish and Swedish. A pronominal definition was formulated and pronominal lexemes were reviewed. Out of this, the most important pronominal differences were analysed, supplemented with historical connections when necessary. Results from searches in corpuses were used to confirm statements. Some of the reviewed pronouns are used for polite addressing, some other just having pure orthographical differences. The use of polite addressing turns out to occur in a greater extent in Danish compared to Swedish. There are also differences in the usage of grammatical cases (nominative and oblique) and there are pronominal behaviours that are unique for each language.
