For Bachelor's and Master's programmes starting in autumn
Are you interested in studying an international Bachelor’s or Master’s programme at Lund University? On this page, you will find key dates and deadlines for the main international application round for programmes starting in autumn (late August).

- Mid-October: Applications for English-taught Bachelor's and Master's programmes open at universityadmissions.se.
- 15 January: Deadline to select programmes for your application.
- 15 January: Deadline to rank your choices in your application.
- 1 February: Deadline to submit all required supporting documents correctly.
- 1 February: Deadline to pay the application fee to University Admissions in Sweden or to prove exemption.
- Early February: Applications for the Lund University Global Scholarship and the Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals open (non-EU/EEA citizens only).
- Late March/Early April: Admission results for Master's applicants are announced in your application account.
- Early April: Admission results for Bachelor's applicants are announced in your application account.
- April: Results for the Lund University Global Scholarship and the Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals are announced (non-EU/EEA citizens only).
- Early April: Activate your student account.
- April: Tuition fee invoices are distributed via the Student Portal (non-EU/EEA citizens only). We strongly advise you to pay your tuition fee instalment as early as possible to be able to proceed with your residence permit application (non-EU/EEA citizens only).
- 30 April: Please accept your offer by this date.
- Early May: Students who have to pay tuition fees must apply for housing through LU Accommodation to secure their housing guarantee (non-EU/EEA citizens only).
- 20 May: Final deadline to pay your first tuition fee instalment.
- As soon as possible after you have paid your first tuition fee instalment: Apply for a residence permit for studies through the Swedish Migration Agency (non-EU/EEA citizens only).
- May: Sign up for a mentor group.
- June to July: LU Accommodation housing offers are sent out to students with a housing guarantee. Students without a guarantee, should actively for housing during this time.
- July: Apply for housing through AF Bostäder's annual housing lottery. Only relevant for EU/EEA citizens without a housing guarantee.
- July to mid-August: Final arrival preparations.
