As our student, we want you to feel safe and secure. We are here to help you if anything happens that makes you feel targeted or vulnerable, or if you are injured or involved in an incident.

Always contact SOS Alarm in the event of an emergency or immediate danger, call 112.
Download the SOS Alarm App
An SOS Alarm app is available. Calling from the app makes it easier for the operators to find the right location.
When you call from the app, you must say:
- That you are calling from Lund University.
- The building where the emergency has occurred.
- The address where the emergency has occurred.

You can also call the University’s emergency number: +46 (0)46 222 07 00 (the number is also found on the back of your LU card). The security control centre is available 24 hours a day.

Make yourself contactable!
All students are encouraged to provide their mobile telephone number in Passport. We can then send text messages to you about urgent matters.
- Go to the account management portal Passport.
- Log in as “User”.
- Select “Verification of contact information”.
- Follow the instructions.
Incidents and accidents
You need to notify the University if you experience an incident, accident or health issues related to your studies.
Harassment and sexual harassment
It is crucial that you notify the University if you feel subjected to harassment, sexual harassment or other offensive conduct.

Cheating and plagiarism

If you need to make a health insurance claim
As a student at Lund University, you are normally covered by Student IN or FAS+. You also have personal injury insurance during school hours.
