Of the total 43,817 students who applied to autumn 2015 Master’s programmes at Swedish universities, 14,821 applied to Lund University programmes. This is an increase of 13% compared to the 13,100 students who applied in the 2014 application round.
Lund University received applications from 161 countries, with the most number of applications made from the UK, Germany, China, the USA and India.
Of Sweden’s five most popular international Master’s degree programmes, four are Lund University programmes:
- Master’s in International Marketing and Brand Management (1,079 applications)
- Master’s in Management (860 applications)
- Master’s in International Development and Management (834 applications)
- Master’s in Development Studies (701)
Lund University’s Master’s in Public Health and Master’s in Corporate Entrepreneurship & Innovation programmes also feature among the top 10 most popular international Master’s programmes in Sweden, with 652 and 628 applications respectively.
The deadline to apply for Master’s programmes at Swedish universities was 15 January. Applicants have until 2 February to submit their supporting documents and pay the application fee (or prove they are exempt) to University Admissions in Sweden.
Admission results are announced in late March.
