What is the best thing about your programme? 

"The best thing about the programme would be without a doubt the diversity. My classmates are from all over the world, yet we connect well. Everyone is warm-hearted and considerate, which makes it much easier to study in a new environment." 

Why did you choose the specialisation Tourism? 

"I did Tourism during my undergraduate study as well and I believe service is the foundation of the tourism industry. Therefore, I chose to expand my knowledge in this specific field."   

What do you think of the teaching style within the programme? 

"The teaching style encourages you to adopt and master what is called 'deep learning'. You understand what you have learned, and you can use the knowledge to make your life better. Besides, your opinions are highly valued in this qualitative learning environment where you can gain more confidence, dare to step out of your comfort zone, and learn better."

What do you plan to do after your studies? 

"I think it depends on whether I can get an ideal job after graduation or not. But no matter what, I want to pursue a PhD, which means I may start my career and then go back to studying years later or keep studying and researching."

What do you do in your spare time? 

"I really enjoy spending time with myself and what I do in my spare time depends greatly on the weather. I stay at home watching movies or series on rainy days, or go for a long walk by myself when it is sunny."

What is it like to live in Sweden and what have you learnt from it so far? 

"For me who comes from the south of China, Sweden is too cold in the winter. And that is how I understood Swedes’ love for the sauna."

Do you have any advice for students considering to study at Lund University or Campus Helsingborg? 

"No second thought. Just come and enjoy student life in Lund/Helsingborg. I am sure you are going to love and treasure what you will have here."
