What do you think of the teaching style in Sweden?

How international is your programme?
"My programme is highly international, with diverse students from various cultural backgrounds. This environment provides the opportunity to build friendships with people worldwide, providing a deeper understanding of different cultures."
Have you been able to gain any practical experience during your studies?
"In addition to theoretical lectures, the programme offers numerous study trips that provide practical experience. These opportunities allow us to improve our understanding and apply what we've learned to real-world scenarios."

"The programme has well-qualified lecturers from whom we can learn more. The education can be both challenging and helpful and offers the opportunity to improve our engineering skills more. I’ve been learning new software, learning more about the environment and the importance of sustainable energy systems."

What is it like being an international student at Lund University?
"The diverse environment creates a sense of belonging, making adapting to new culture easier. Also, the widespread use of English makes adaptation smoother for international students. Additionally, valuable support from student nations, mentor groups, and ambassadors provide you with a lot of assistance."
What do you do in your spare time?
"During my spare time, I enjoy going for fika with friends, exploring the beautiful surroundings through hiking, and taking small trips to nearby areas."
What have been the highlights of your first year in Lund?
"The highlight of my first year has been making lasting friendships and embarking on this exciting adventure together."
Do you have any advice for students that are considering coming to Lund?
"If you're moving from a warmer climate like me, be prepared for the cold, but embrace the unique winter vibe. You should bring warm clothes like gloves and a winter jacket."
