What Frank says about the Master's in Wireless Communications

Introducing Frank 

Hi! My name is Frank and I'm the student ambassador for the Master's programme in Wireless Communication. I am happy to answer any questions you might have about the programme, courses, student life, and life in Lund and Sweden via the Unibuddy Platform, where you can chat with me (see below). Why did you choose Lund University? 

"I chose Lund University because of the high quality of education it provides, with international recognition in research across various fields of technology."

What are your first impressions of your programme? Does it meet your expectations? 

"My first impression of the programme was that it would offer a deeper understanding of wireless communication systems, which was part of my course during my Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. It really meets my expectations as it exposes me to different and more advanced skills in wireless communication systems in today’s world."

What have been the highlights of your first months in Lund?

"My first month at Lund felt like a unique class in itself. It was my first time travelling to Europe and meeting people from diverse backgrounds that I wasn't familiar with. It was a time of navigating everything, from struggling to find lecture rooms to getting lost in the city. Through this, I quickly learned and mastered the map of Lund. I also found myself doing a lot of mental math, converting every purchase from SEK to my local currency."

What do you think of the teaching style in Sweden? 

"I would describe it as the best teaching method I’ve encountered since I knew what school was! The lecturers are fully committed to helping students grasp concept and understand things. They make sure you get all the necessary knowledge about a particular concept. I’m impressed!"

How international is your programme? 

"It’s fascinating, and I like it because the programme is highly relevant to my previous Bachelor’s degree, and I find it very practical for real-world applications."

What are you most looking forward to in your programme? 

"I’m looking forward to gaining all the necessary knowledge and being able to contribute to the fast-growing world of technology."
