Description
Computational Biology & Biological Physics (CBBP) at Lund University pursues a very broad spectrum of research activities. In particular, CBBP builds models of macromolecules and living systems, and investigates biological processes by applying machine learning and statistical techniques. Examples of problems areas are: protein folding, misfolding and interactions; bionanophysics, e.g., studies of nano-confined DNA; transcriptional regulation, development and stem cell fates; machine learning (e.g., deep neural networks) for medical decision support.
