Description

LU Estates is responsible for the University’s provision of facilities. We constitute the collective expertise in strategic facilities planning and construction projects. We possess expertise in interior design, sustainability, safety, physical work environment, contract law and property administration. This ensures that our facilities are of a high standard. LU Estates is also responsible for shared lecture halls, scheduling and facility booking, as well as the café and restaurant operations. The University owns no facilities, as it rents its premises from various property owners. LU Estates is the University’s contracting partner regarding these property owners. This means that LU Estates is responsible for matters concerning renting and termination, and for all changes in the University’s facility portfolio. Always contact LU Estates at fg [at] bygg [dot] lu [dot] se about changes in facility requirements or other matters concerning facilities. Concessions within the University are regulated by rules on internal concession
