"My first impressions of the programme were good. The courses of my programme are well structured with a combination of theoretical content, laboratory sessions and group activities. The group work has provided me the opportunity to interact with students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds and I have learned a lot of new experiences. "
What have been the highlights of your first months in Lund?
"My experience during the first months in Lund has been good. I like to walk around the city. I can say that Lund is a small, beautiful city of international students."
What do you think of the teaching style in Sweden?
"I really like the teaching style in Sweden. It is a very non-hierarchical teaching style, in which a student can freely interact with the professor without the fear of being judged. Each lecture is delivered by a teacher who has done in-depth research on that topic. Besides that, the food industry experts are also invited to deliver practical knowledge about food industry processes."
How international is your programme?
"Our class is a blend of students from different countries in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East."
What are you most looking forward to in your programme?
"I am most looking forward to acquiring practical knowledge which is related to the food industry. I also expect to make connections with people from my field to learn from their experiences."
